昨晚的晚餐,是兩餸一湯:雜菜炒雞柳,蒜蓉豆鼓蒸肉排和蕃茄薯仔湯。驟耳一聽,是否很豐富和美味呢?然而,告訴您一個真相,是.極.度.的.難.食,是120分的難食啊!
雜菜炒雞柳:雜菜是購自超市那些已切好的雜菜包(貪其方便,總之一句懶!)。內裡包括芽菜、紅蘿蔔、椰菜、蘑菇等。買時覺得它像很好味,怎知打開後便覺它只是「菜頭菜尾」,印象大打折扣。芽菜是有一股鯹味,有線阿蘇教要過水才能辟走它,但看著那些碎散散的菜頭菜尾,便不知怎樣處理才好。結果,水沒過便直接把它落鍋炒,固然是第一個難食了。
蒜蓉豆鼓蒸肉排:這瓶蒜蓉豆鼓醬是我們初到步時在唐人街買的,但因在超市一直找不到排骨,便把它閒置在一角。近日我媽說蒸瘦肉都可以,所以它便能重見天日。可惜我媽沒說明那些肉是否要調味,於是我便發揮創意,胡亂地放了點油、鹽、糖、胡椒等,再混和這蒜蓉豆鼓醬,得出來便是怪怪的味道。第一口是豆鼓味,然後是胡椒味,及後又有點鼓油味,古怪得難以想像。這是第二個難食。
幸好白飯和湯尚算正常,我胡亂地喝了點湯和小半碗飯便投降,而他卻硬吃了三碗飯來燃燒了這兩道怪味餸。我屢勸他放棄,但他卻說不是很難吃,只是味道有點新奇。嘻嘻,好一個「味道新奇」!
早陣子,我還向朋友自誇廚藝已精進不少云云,但卻只是原地踏步,想來我真的是沒有什麼煮食天份。我媽這個大廚真的不易當。

Haha... Mandy... Don't feel bad. You haven't eat the most "creative" dish from me yet! My kids and husband were my "inspiration", and frankly they always put up with me. :) Afterall, they learn quick that there is nothing left to eat if they refuse to try.
