Thanks for your email and kind thoughts. I'm still in Bahrain and there have been riots and people being killed last week. It's had very little impact on my life though. All the bad stuff is confined to small areas that I don't go to and so I'm just watching it on the news like everyone else, amazed that I live about 8k away from it all.

Everyone got sent home from work early on Thursday and all the banks and shops closed but all is working normally now. The protests are still going on but the police and army have moved away and just let the people get on with it so no more bloodshed since Friday......
