The silent night will come after 3-4 months if you are lucky enough, but I hope you realize that there will never be a silent day since the day your son was born! :)

Don't scare me!! After 3-4 months? My mom said that it will happen after 40 days of his birth!
I artifically tried to make it happen yesterday night by not repsonding to his crying at around 3:30am. Nonetheless, I surrounded finally as his dummy was shouting loudly!

mandy, you can make the transition easier by making sure bb is not taking naps in the evening, and giving him formula instead of breastmilk at night before he goes to bed, or just give him to his daddy if you really need a good nite sleep! :)
